04: CURRICULUM, INSTRUCTION, ASSESSMENT: ALIGNING STANDARDS

Accountability to local, state, and national standards is a reality for every teacher. I explain how standards can be turned over to the learners and how they can be assessed at the end of the process.

PROJECT RUBRIC - SETTING THE GOALS

The rubric is an important step in defining the content and product that will be analyzed and developed. Students also need to recognize how they will address the soft skills.

PROJECT CONNECTION FORM - IDENTIFYING STANDARDS

Since the diversity of work varies between students, each learner will self-select a series of national, state, or local standards. More importantly, linking those standards to the thinking skills will build depth to the project.
